The first-ever Fall Classic held west of the Mississippi River pitted the freshly transplanted Los Angeles Dodgers against the Chicago “Go-Go” White Sox, who hadn’t basked in the October spotlight since their 1919 disgrace. Hailing from that showdown are: Comiskey Park Ticket Block: framed to 11-5/8 x 13-5/8”, the sheet features full tickets from Games 1, 2, 6 and 7; Original Wire Photo: a black-and-white Game 6 action photo framed to 15x12; Game 6 Ticket Stub: Comiskey Park voucher (EX-MT). More on our website.

Comiskey Park 1959 World Series Ticket Block: includes full tickets to Games 1, 2, 6 and 7; each is a “Standing Room” voucher with printed event details and global-themed winged foot logos. The sheet presents nicely with sharp edges, rounded corners and secure perforations.

1959 World Series Game 6 Original Wire Photo: framed to 15x12, the black-and-white photo (9-1/4 x 6-3/4” visible image area depicts Early Wynn firing the opening pitch of the sixth and final game of the series. Also pictured are batter Junior Gilliam, catcher Sherm Lollar and home plate umpire Frank Dascoli. The original caption appears on the lower border. This photo hails from the Chicago Tribune archives and is accompanied by an LOA from the Chicago Tribune.
