Description

It was the final Mid-Summer Classic for Ripken and Gwynn—and the Iron Man made it magical. After a lengthy standing ovation with the theme from "The Natural" playing overhead, Ripken launched his first pitch for a solo homer. Later, during a mid-game ceremony, he and Gwynn were bestowed with the Commissioners' Historic Achievement Award. And fellow class act Jeter also homered in the 4-1 junior-circuit victory. Manufactured by Jostens, this auralite, size 11 ring features a CZ stone set in a Mariner-logo gold star atop a green stone. The shanks display a 100th Anniversary A.L. logo and an AS Game logo. Near Mint condition. Accompanied by the original Jostens presentation box and exterior cover box, plus a 2004 purchase LOA.
