Twenty years after his final MLB appearance HOF hurler Robin Roberts took the field again in this 1986 Philadelphia Phillies “Old Timers Day” uniform. Authentic traces of soiling and sweat stains appear inside and out on this classic pinstriped jersey/pants combination worn by the greatest "righty" in franchise history for the Veterans Stadium event. Both garments display in excellent condition with handsome patches/accents. Robert’s stately (“9”) autograph appears on the Wilson size “46” jersey with the inscription “HOF 76”. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.

Hand printed inside the waistband of the Wilson size “38” pants is “R. Roberts” along with additional undetermined writing. Black stitched “86” patches appear next to manufacturer’s labels on the front of the jersey and inside the waistband of the pants. A 3-1/2” diameter Phillies logo patch consistent with the early to mid-1980s period appears on the left sleeve of the jersey, completing the design of this overall very appealing authentic uniform worn and signed by one of the game's true greats.
