With high expectations following brilliant prep and college exploits, Dave Stenhouse pitched three seasons for the Senators and wore this cap during his final campaign (1964). The blue wool accessory features a curly “W” embroidered to the front center in red-on-white, a red button atop the six-point crown suspension and red piping lining five of the outer seams. The interior sweatband is home to a “Wilson” label and a size “7” tag. Stenhouse’s number “15” is inscribed on the bill’s underside. LOA from Washington, D.C. baseball historian Phil Wood.
